Subject: The poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay" is about nature's first green is golden, but it is hard to hold it in place. So it does not stay the same. As the seasons change so does nature's green color.

Theme: This poem's message is that we have a lot of special and precious things in the world. But these things are short lived so we cannot have them forever.

My Response: My response for this poem is that it is very meaningful to the fact that nothing good can stay forever, or something or anything you love can ever stay one day it has to go and move on.
